Roustabout – Off-Shore

2-Day Program for Off-Shore Oil & Gas Rigs

This is a continuation from the On-Shore program and can be taken at any time. Off-Shore pays more than On-Shore therefore getting hired without experience is much more difficult. We recommend, you take the Roustabout On-Shore program and after working six-months if you decide you want to apply for Off-Shore then come to this program.

Program Agenda:

• Getting On/Off the Rig

(helicopter / boat)

• Life on a Rig

• Survival Alarms

• Survival Drills

• Water Survival

(does require getting in a swimming pool)

Roustabout Off-Shore Qualifications:

• High school diploma or GED

• Lift 80 pounds

• Be able to work at heights

• Ability to swim 1/8 mile and tread water 20 minutes

• Knowledge of oil & gas rig operations beneficial

Prerequisite:

• Roustabout On-Shore completion

Program Fee: $295.00 includes manual and wallet card.
